P&G Challenges Duties On Citric Acid Imports

Law360, New York (July 27, 2009, 7:11 PM EDT) -- Procter & Gamble Co. is fighting to overturn a recent U.S. International Trade Commission ruling that led to anti-dumping and countervailing duties on imports of citric acid and citrate salts from Canada and China.

P&G, which imports citric acid and citrate salts from Canada, asked the U.S. Court of International Trade on Friday to review an ITC determination that the imports harm or threaten to harm the U.S. market for such products.
