Georgia-Pacific Paper Towel Trademark Suit Tossed

Law360, New York (July 27, 2009, 3:50 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has tossed a trademark infringement suit launched by Georgia-Pacific Consumer Products LP against a sanitary supply distributor, ruling the plaintiff failed to prove that Myers Supply Inc. had contributed to the infringement of the enMotion paper towel dispenser.

Judge Robert T. Dawson tossed Georgia-Pacific's allegation of contributory trademark infringement, the last remaining count in the suit, on Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.
