ITC To Review Argentine Wire Duty For 3rd Time

Law360, New York (July 28, 2009, 6:24 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has instituted its third review of an anti-dumping duty order on barbed wire and barbless wire strand imports from Argentina, which has been in place since 1985.

As in its first two reviews of the duty on the Argentine goods, the ITC will determine whether revocation of the duty would be harmful to domestic interests and lead to a “continuation or recurrence of material injury,” according to Mary Messer, a senior international trade analyst at the ITC.
