Flash Memory Cos. Told To Turn Over Sales Data

Law360, New York (July 29, 2009, 5:23 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has ordered Hitachi America Ltd., Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., and other defendants in a consolidated antitrust class action against makers of flash memory chips to turn over non-U.S. sales data for the products.

Judge Joseph Spero of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California ruled Monday that the defendants must turn over the data by Aug. 31, as well as ordering the parties to confer about the deposition of witnesses for the defense.
