Ex-Wollmuth Lawyer Slaps Firm With Discrimination Suit

Law360, New York (October 9, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former attorney at Wollmuth Maher & Deutsch has filed a $7 million discrimination suit against his old firm, where two of the firm’s partners allegedly ridiculed him and then unfairly fired him.

In the complaint, filed Friday in Manhattan Supreme Court, Steven Behar accused his old colleagues of harassing him almost from the moment he arrived as head of the firm’s securities practice group in June 2003.
