Sentinel Trustee Denied Redo In $14M Bankruptcy Fight
By Celeste Bott (March 29, 2019, 3:46 PM EDT) -- An earlier ruling allowing UBS Securities LLC to keep $14.4 million in interest it received when it liquidated its account with bankrupt Sentinel Management Group Inc. will stand after an Illinois federal judge ruled the liquidation trustee's reconsideration bid largely rehashed old arguments.
Sentinel liquidation trustee Frederick J. Grede "is entitled to disagree with the court's analysis," but the court already considered the issues he raised in his motion, U.S. District Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer found Thursday.
