Victorinox 'Swiss' Goods Seized Over False Origin

Law360, New York (August 6, 2009, 1:33 PM EDT) -- Following the filing of a criminal complaint by a well-known Swiss businessman, Swiss authorities have reportedly seized products from Swiss Army knife manufacturer Victorinox AG for using the Swiss cross, one of the country’s most recognizable national symbols, on goods manufactured in Taiwan and China in violation of Swiss trademark laws.
