University Fends Off One Wage-Hour Suit

Law360, New York (October 10, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An Illinois Chancery Court judge has dismissed a wage-hour suit against American InterContinental University Online, though a much larger suit before an Illinois federal court is still ongoing.

In the chancery court, Judge Thomas Quinn ruled on Oct. 2 that AIU Online had properly paid three former admissions advisors that had sued the school for uncompensated overtime.
