J&J, Bausch Reach Talc Litigation Deal

Law360 (April 23, 2019, 5:46 PM EDT) -- Bausch Health Cos. Inc. on Tuesday said that Johnson & Johnson has agreed to cover the costs of litigation over a "Shower to Shower" talc powder product that Bausch acquired in 2012.

Bausch said in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing that J&J agreed on April 17 to fully indemnify it in personal injury and product liability suits over the body powder product, as well as any regulatory action over the powder's manufacture, sale or use up until September 2012.
