Orrick-Led Beyond Meat Ups Targets, Aims For $231M IPO

Law360 (April 30, 2019, 12:49 PM EDT) -- Plant-based protein company Beyond Meat Inc. on Tuesday tacked on more shares to its initial public offering and raised its price range as the Orrick-led company now expects to bring in $231 million at midpoint.

Venture-backed Beyond Meat now intends to offer 9.625 million shares — 875,000 more than disclosed in an April 22 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission — while hiking its price range to $23-$25 per share from an initial $21-$23 per share. Beyond Meat's decision to increase these targets means the company would raise an additional $56 million at the midpoint — an increase of 32%...
