Miss. AG's Suit Ousted From Vitamin MDL

Law360, New York (August 7, 2009, 6:27 PM EDT) -- The federal judge overseeing multidistrict litigation accusing dozens of vitamin makers of engaging in a scheme to fix prices and allocate the vitamin market has remanded the Mississippi attorney general's suit to state court after finding that his court lacked subject matter jurisdiction.

Judge Thomas F. Hogan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Tuesday remanded Attorney General Jim Hood's complaint to the Chancery Court of Rankin County, Mississippi, where he initially filed suit in January 2006.
