Shipman & Goodwin Picks Up Cigna's Cybersecurity Chief
Law360 (May 7, 2019, 9:18 PM EDT) -- Shipman & Goodwin LLP has hired away Cigna Corp.'s privacy and cybersecurity chief, a former Connecticut assistant attorney general, for the firm's data privacy and protection practices in Hartford, the firm said Monday.
In his new role as partner, Matthew Fitzsimmons rejoins several Connecticut attorney general's office alumni at Shipman & Goodwin, including former Attorney General George Jepsen and former Chief Deputy Attorney General Perry Zinn Rowthorn, who both started at the firm in February.
