Smokers Fire Off Action Over Marlboro Lights

Law360, New York (August 10, 2009, 6:36 PM EDT) -- Consumers have slapped Phillip Morris USA Inc. with a putative class action alleging that the company inappropriately markets light cigarettes as being less harmful than regular cigarettes, even though they can release just as much, if not more, nicotine and tar.
