Va. Power Co. Wins $770K From Insurer For Turbine Repair

Law360 (May 10, 2019, 9:11 PM EDT) -- A Virginia federal jury has found that insurer Hartford Steam Boiler broke its contract with a North Virginia Electric Cooperative subsidiary by failing to cover its losses when a power plant turbine was damaged, awarding the power company over $770,000.
