Trump Pick Jeffrey Rosen OK'd To Replace Rosenstein At DOJ
Law360 (May 16, 2019, 6:38 PM EDT) -- Jeffrey Rosen won Senate confirmation to the second-highest Justice Department post Thursday, as Republicans pushed through President Donald Trump’s choice to replace DOJ veteran Rod Rosenstein.

The chamber voted 52-45 along a partisan split to clear Rosen, formerly a top Transportation Department official, as the deputy attorney general. Leading Democrats complained that Rosen has inadequate background for the position and lacks prosecutorial experience.
