McAfee Execs Ousted Over Options Scandal

Law360, New York (October 11, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The options backdating scandal has felled the top executives of McAfee Inc. McAfee CEO George Samenuk has stepped down from his post, and McAfee President Kevin Weiss has been fired by the company’s board of directors.

Samenuk said he regretted that some of the company’s options problems occurred under his watch.
