McDonald's Facing Two Dozen New Sexual Harassment Claims
Law360 (May 21, 2019, 4:26 PM EDT) -- McDonald’s was hit with 25 new sets of claims Tuesday from workers alleging they were sexually harassed by co-workers and managers, complaints that come one day after the fast-food giant’s top executive detailed new anti-harassment policies.
The latest wave of sexual harassment claims by McDonald’s workers includes a handful of lawsuits and U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission charges, and comes after 10 women and girls filed sexual harassment claims a year ago and an earlier wave of allegations were filed in 2016. Two of the lawsuits announced Tuesday derived from previously filed EEOC charges.
