Draft Patent Eligibility Bill Would Undo Alice, Mayo

Law360 (May 22, 2019, 8:57 PM EDT) -- A group of lawmakers on Wednesday unveiled a draft bill to overhaul the law on what is eligible for a patent, which would effectively overturn U.S. Supreme Court decisions that patents are invalid for claiming only abstract ideas, laws of nature or natural phenomena.
