2 Cos. Circumvented Steel Anti-Dumping Duties: DOC

Law360, New York (August 12, 2009, 3:41 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration has issued a final determination that some steel products produced by Tianjin Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. and imported by Toyota Tsusho America Inc. have circumvented anti-dumping duties imposed on cut-to-length carbon steel plate from China.

In a notice published Wednesday in the Federal Register, the ITA stated that since no parties commented on a preliminary determination in the matter issued in July, that ruling will stand as a final determination.
