Ex-IGT Counsel Are SOX Whistleblowers: 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (August 13, 2009, 6:30 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court on Tuesday ruled that a married pair of former in-house intellectual property attorneys at International Game Technology made valid claims that they were fired in violation of the whistleblower provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, reversing a summary judgment ruling against the couple.
