Bankrate To Fork Over $3M To Settle Antitrust Spat

Law360, New York (October 11, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Burying the hatchet in a long-running antitrust spat, Bankrate Inc. said Wednesday it would shell out $3 million to settle a lawsuit brought against it by American Interbanc LLC.

Bankrate, which owns and operates Bankrate.com, an Internet consumer banking marketplace, said it reached the settlement without admitting fault or liability of any kind.
