Schreiber Foods Faces Donning, Doffing Suit

Law360, New York (August 14, 2009, 4:26 PM EDT) -- Employees at Schreiber Foods Inc. have filed a proposed collective action complaint against the cheese producer, alleging they were not paid for time spent donning and doffing uniforms and cleaning equipment.

The complaint, filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, alleges that employees were barred from being on the clock when they sanitized equipment and changed in and out of uniforms before work, during lunch breaks and after work.
