US Shrimpers Seek Injunction On Import Duties

Law360, New York (August 18, 2009, 1:40 PM EDT) -- A consortium of domestic shrimp processors that sued the U.S. for lowering anti-dumping duties on frozen warmwater shrimp from India is now asking a federal judge to stop the government from collecting the lowered duties until the case is resolved.

The Ad Hoc Shrimp Trade Action Committee asked Monday for a preliminary injunction regarding the duties from the U.S. Court of International Trade.
