Fed. Circ. Upholds Wal-Mart Win In RFID Patent Suit

Law360, New York (August 19, 2009, 5:08 PM EDT) -- Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the Gillette Co. and Target Corp. have earned victory in a patent infringement suit dealing with microchips used to keep track of product inventory, with a federal appeals court upholding a claims construction ruling by a lower court that terminated the case.
