InBev Antitrust Case Goes To 8th Circ. For Next Round

Law360, New York (August 20, 2009, 1:06 PM EDT) -- The Missouri beer drinkers who sued InBev NV/SA over the Belgian beer giant's acquisition last year of St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. have appealed a federal judge's scrapping earlier in August of their claims that the merger is anti-competitive and will raise prices for consumers.

The plaintiffs notified the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri Aug. 19 of their intent to appeal the judgment against them and a raft of orders to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
