Property Rights Fight Brewing Before High Court

Law360, New York (August 21, 2009, 6:39 PM EDT) -- The Coalition for Property Rights Inc. has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overrule a Florida Supreme Court decision that said it was legal for the state to add sand to the coastline and make the extended area of the beach public.

In an amicus brief filed Aug. 20 with the U.S. Supreme Court in Stop the Beach Renourishment Inc. v.
