Apple, AT&T Deny Agreement On Google Voice

Law360, New York (August 24, 2009, 6:50 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc. and AT&T Corp. have reassured the Federal Communications Commission that the companies' relationship has played no role in stopping Apple from approving the Google Voice application for iPhone.

In a letter to the FCC on Friday, Apple also said it had not made a final decision about the so-called Google Voice application. Google submitted the application earlier this year to be sold in Apple's App Store, where customers buy third-party applications for iPhones.
