Hartford Fights To Dismiss Fla. Homeowners’ Action

Law360, New York (August 24, 2009, 4:02 PM EDT) -- Hartford Insurance Co. has asked a federal court to throw out a proposed class action claiming the insurer violated a Florida statute by refusing to pay claims for damage from Hurricane Wilma until homeowners completed repairs of their property, arguing that identical allegations already have been tossed in two previous cases.
