SEC Drops Backdating Probe Into Pixar Ex-CFO

Law360, New York (August 24, 2009, 7:48 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has dropped a stock options backdating investigation into former Pixar Animation Studios Chief Financial Officer Ann Mather.

"They are not moving forward or pressing charges," Mather spokesman Paul Kranhold said.

Attorney Timothy Coleman of Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, who represents Mather, received notice Aug. 10 that the SEC was dropping its investigation, according to Kranhold.
