Swiss Shoemaker Asks ITC To Drop Section 337 Probe

Law360, New York (August 25, 2009, 3:42 PM EDT) -- Swiss shoemaker Masai Marketing & Trading AG has asked the U.S. International Trade Commission to end an investigation into alleged infringement of a Masai patent that covers a type of curved-sole shoe.

Masai and respondent Ryn Korea Co. Ltd., which settled their dispute in June, jointly asked the commission on Monday to end the remaining investigation into several U.S. distributors named alongside Ryn as co-respondents.
