Fed. Circ. Revives Part Of Ortho-McNeil Ultracet Saga

Law360, New York (August 26, 2009, 5:37 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court on Wednesday reversed the bulk of a lower court ruling against Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical Inc., shooting most of the long-running litigation over painkiller Ultracet back down to the district court for further scrutiny.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit vacated in part, affirmed in part and remanded the decision handed down in August 2008 by Judge Dennis Cavanaugh of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
