US Steel, Nucor, Say DOC Broke Own Duty Rules

Law360, New York (August 27, 2009, 4:43 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce failed to follow its own rules when assessing anti-dumping duties on South Korean steelmakers, U.S. Steel Corp. and Nucor Corp. have said in separate motions in federal trade court.

The steelmakers — which dispute the anti-dumping duties assessed on a Korean rival, Union Steel — asked the court for a judgment on the agency record in separate motions both filed Wednesday in the U.S. Court of International Trade.
