Chrysler Group To Accept Liability Claims

Law360, New York (August 28, 2009, 4:53 PM EDT) -- Chrysler Group has said it will accept liability claims on vehicles sold before the automobile manufacturer emerged from bankruptcy with new owners.

The announcement came with a letter on Thursday to members of Congress assuring political leaders the company's new owners would stand by claims for vehicles sold before Chrysler Group acquired substantially all of the automaker's assets on June 10.
