Sunoco Logistics, Black Hills Sued For Age Discrimination

Law360, New York (October 17, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Former employees have filed a lawsuit against energy companies Sonoco Logistics Partners LLP and Black Hills Corporation, alleging they were fired because they were over the age of 40.

The lawsuit, filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, alleges that former employees Luther Hamilton, Dave Bailey, William Hughes, Gena Borden, Steve Watson, Johnnie Standard and Dwight Reynolds were all wrongly terminated.

The group is suing Black Hills, its subsidiary Black Hills Energy Resources Inc., and Sunoco Logistics.
