Louis Vuitton Wins $32.4M In Online Trademark Suit

Law360, New York (September 1, 2009, 3:41 PM EDT) -- A federal jury in California has awarded Louis Vuitton Malletier SA $32.4 million in damages in a copyright and trademark suit against two Internet hosting businesses and their common operator.

In a verdict issued Friday, a jury in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California found Akanoc Solutions Inc., Managed Solutions Group Inc. and their operator, Steven Chen, liable for contributory infringement.
