Beer Drinkers Ask Judge To Clarify InBev Ruling

Law360, New York (September 1, 2009, 12:56 PM EDT) -- Beer drinkers in Missouri who unsuccessfully challenged the merger of brewery giants InBev NV/SA and Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. last year have asked a judge to clarify her Aug. 4 judgment against them, seeking to bring the issue of divestiture into their pending antitrust appeal.

The plaintiffs filed a motion in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri on Friday asking Judge Jean Hamilton to clarify her ruling as to whether their complaint sufficiently seeks the remedy of divestiture.
