Ropes & Gray Boosts Restructuring Group With Kirkland Atty

Law360 (September 13, 2019, 4:21 PM EDT) -- Ropes & Gray LLP has snagged a Kirkland & Ellis LLP veteran representing a wide array of public and privately held companies for its business restructuring group in New York, the firm announced Thursday.

Cristine Pirro Schwarzman joins as a partner in Ropes & Gray's 350-attorney Manhattan office after five years at Kirkland, and will give a boost to its services to distressed public and private companies, the firm said. She represents debtors in both in- and out-of-court restructurings, as well as distressed acquisitions, and her clients span industries such as telecommunications, technology and energy.
