FSB Climate Disclosure Framework Poised For 2020 Traction

Law360 (September 24, 2019, 5:17 PM EDT) -- On Sept. 23, the Climate Disclosure Standards Board and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board launched a handbook aimed at providing techniques to enhance companies' climate-related financial disclosures. The handbook represents a next step in advancing implementation of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures framework, an effort launched by the G-20’s Financial Stability Board and chaired by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
