KB Toys Gets Green Light For $2M Sale Of IP

Law360, New York (September 2, 2009, 5:52 PM EDT) -- The judge in charge of KB Toys Inc.'s Chapter 11 proceedings has given the retailer the go-ahead to sell certain intellectual property, including trademarks and Web domain names, to CE Stores LLC for $2.1 million.

Judge Kevin J. Carey of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware signed off Wednesday on an order approving the asset purchase agreement with CE Stores and authorizing KB Toys and its affiliated debtors to sell assets free and clear of liens, claims and encumbrances.
