Silicon Graphics Emerges From Ch. 11 Protection

Law360 (October 18, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- High-powered computer company Silicon Graphics Inc. broke out of Chapter 11 protection after an incredibly short bankruptcy of six months, the company announced Tuesday.

The reorganized Silicon Graphics will have a new board of directors, $150 million less in annual costs and a bolstered product portfolio, the company said.
