Creditors Back Frontier Ch. 11 Sale To Republic

Law360, New York (September 3, 2009, 2:15 PM EDT) -- An overwhelming majority of creditors have approved the reorganization plan of bankrupt Frontier Airlines Holdings Inc., moving the airline one step closer to approval of its acquisition by Republic Airways Holdings Inc.

The reorganization plan tied to the Republic bid won the support of 92.58 percent of voting creditors, and 99.84 percent of the dollar amount of voting claims, Frontier said in a statement Wednesday.
