SEC To Levy Fraud Charges Against Ex-Delphi Execs

Law360, New York (October 19, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Adding to the multitude of troubles at Delphi Corp., the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is reportedly planning to file civil charges against the company’s former executives, after conducting a 27-month-long investigation into accounting fraud at the bankrupt auto supplier.

Those expected to bear the brunt of the civil charges include John Blahnik, former Delphi vice president of treasure, mergers and acquisitions, Laura Marion, former director of financial accounting and reporting; and Paul Free, former chief accounting officer, according to the Detroit News.
