T-Mobile UK, Orange UK To Join Forces

Law360, New York (September 8, 2009, 1:15 PM EDT) -- In a deal likely to catch the attention of European antitrust regulators, T-Mobile UK and Orange UK plan to combine in a joint venture that will be the U.K.'s largest cellular provider, the companies said Tuesday.

T-Mobile parent Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom announced on Tuesday that they have entered negotiations for a 50-50 joint venture combining their two British cellular companies.
