Woodworkers File WARN Act Suit

Law360, New York (September 9, 2009, 3:13 PM EDT) -- Former employees at Wood Structures Inc., which manufactured trusses and other wood products before closing down earlier this year, have brought a proposed class action against a private equity firm that is Wood Structures' parent, alleging they are still owed severance pay and other benefits.

The complaint, filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine, took aim at Roark Capital Group Inc., an Atlanta-based private equity firm.
