Hospitals' $100M Breach Suits Get Boot In 3rd Circ.

Law360, New York (September 10, 2009, 12:43 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed the dismissal of two breach of contract actions brought by several hospitals, ruling that the plaintiffs did not exhaust administrative remedies before filing twin $100 million suits against contractors that underwrite a health benefits program for former military personnel called TRICARE.
