Exodus Decimates Bracewell's Austin IP Practice

Law360, New York (March 31, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- Eight attorneys formerly with the Austin office of Bracewell & Patterson have started a new intellectual property specialty firm in Austin, leaving Bracewell’s Austin IP practice in tatters only three years after it absorbed a local boutique.

Partners Andrew Dillon and Craig Yudell, along with five other IP experts, opened the IP boutique Dillon & Yudell LLP on March 1. Dillon had served as the co-head of Bracewell's intellectual property section and the managing partner of its Austin office.
