Lutron, Neptun Settle ITC Dimmer Switch Patent Spat

Law360, New York (September 11, 2009, 2:43 PM EDT) -- A judge in the U.S. International Trade Commission has agreed to end a patent infringement case over dimmer switches brought by light switch maker Lutron Electronic Co. against energy efficient-lighting company Neptun Light Inc., following a settlement reached by the parties.

Administrative Law Judge Robert K. Rogers Jr. on Thursday granted Lutron and Neptun's motion to terminate the investigation based on a consent order, which they filed Aug. 31.
