Juvenile Court Kickback Scheme Triggers Insurer Suit

Law360, New York (September 14, 2009, 12:29 PM EDT) -- A unit of insurer Chubb Corp. is seeking a judgment that it is not required to defend the wife of a disgraced former Pennsylvania judge over her alleged role in a $2.8 million kickback scheme that sent kids wrapped up in a Pennsylvania county's juvenile justice system to private detention centers.
