Asarco, BLM Land Exchange Violates NEPA: 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (September 14, 2009, 7:13 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has reversed a lower court's ruling that approved the actions of the U.S Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management in its agreement with now-bankrupt Asarco LLC to exchange thousands of acres of land near an Arizona mining complex.
