Magna To Sell 2 Racetracks For $170M

Law360, New York (September 15, 2009, 8:24 PM EDT) -- The judge overseeing Magna Entertainment Corp.'s Chapter 11 proceedings gave her blessing Tuesday to the sales of the Thistledown horse-racing track in Ohio to Harrah's Operating Co. Inc. and Remington Park track in Oklahoma to Global Gaming RP LLC for a reported total of $170 million.

Judge Mary Walrath of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware gave the debtors a green light to sell off the tracks.
